Expedite drinking water project, contractors told

TIRUCHI: Corporation Commissioner T.T.Balsamy has instructed officials and contractors to expedite the implementation of the Drinking Water Supply Augmentation Scheme being executed at a cost of Rs.221.42 crore in the city.
In a release issued after a review meeting with officials and contractors on Friday, Mr.Balsamy said works on various packages of the project should be completed as per schedule. City Engineer S.Raja Mohamed attended the meeting.
