125 differently abled get education kits

TIRUCHI: Notebooks, uniforms and educational kits, all worth over Rs.15,000 were distributed to about 125 differently abled and poor students, including the wards of visually impaired workers of ORBIT (Organisation for Rehabilitation of the Blind in Tiruchi) at a function held in the city on Tuesday.
The function was organised by the Tiruchi town branch of the State Bank of India, SHARON NGO and the Worth Trust
Shun inhibitions
D.Samson Daniel, Medical Superintendent, CSI Mission Hospital, Woraiyur, in his presidential address, urged the students to shun inhibitions and face the future challenges with confidence. He urged them to go for higher education for building a bright future.
N.P.Sukumar, Managing Director, Acoustics India (private) limited, J.Pinatteli, Managing Director, Aquafort Water (private) limited, S.Dhanaraj of SHARON NGO, P.R.Pandi, president, ORBIT, offered felicitations.
V.Raja, branch manager of the Tiruchi town branch of the SBI, said that his bank has apportioned one per cent of its profit for community service. Dr.Samson Daniel gave away the uniforms and note books to students.
